Beeker Does Balboa

Every so often I head west to Balboa Park to take in the beauty and culture that is many times free.

We like free.

Beeker decided to join me, and despite his look of perpetual abject panic, he’s really enjoying himself. He rides strapped along with my tripod on the back of my camera bag, for the best view in the house.

Here he’s resting from a quick shoot of the Birds of Paradise in the garden next to the Horticulture Museum. Hot work, he’s ready for a rest in the shade.
